Kalisto PASUWA SALUTES TEAM AFTER THEY SCORE 22 GOALS

KALISTO Pasuwa said his FCB Nyasa Bullets were ruthless as they demolished non-league side Kumanda Stars 22-1 in the Castel Cup Round of 64 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre on Saturday.

Ronald Chitiyo opened the scoring in a game in which Chawanangwa Gumbo scored EIGHT goals.

The People’s Team scored 11 goals in each half to progress to the next round on the day their assistant coach Heston Munthali celebrated his birthday.

Precious Phiri scored six goals, Stanley Billiat netted four while Chikumbutso Salima claimed a brace and Ephraim Kondowe scored the other goal.

“The approach was very positive and we could see each and everything they were doing. They wanted a win,” said Pasuwa.

Kumanda coach Innocent Katchika said:

“We will go back to our drawing board. But three of the goals were scored because of poor officiating by the assistant referee,” he said. – Sports Reporter/The Nation
