MUTARE businessman and Premiership club, Manica Diamonds financier, Cde Evans Kamombo has donated US$5 000 to ZANU PF Nyanga District Coordinating Committee towards the district’s participation at the party’s national conference in Chinhoyi in October.
Cde Kamombo said: “ZANU PF is in the blood. It is part of my DNA and naturally I have to be making these contributions towards the good of my party.”
In a separate interview, Nyanga District Coordinating Committee, chairman, Cde Barnabas Mhaka, thanked the Mutare businessman for the assistance.
“We really want to appreciate the help that we have received from Cde Evans Kamombo. It will go a long way in helping us travel to the ZANU PF National People’s Conference, and our stay there will be very comfortable. We commend Cde Kamombo, our son from Nyanga for this assistance. We urge fellow successful businessmen and women from Nyanga to emulate this gesture,” he said.
Cde Kamombo recently donated US$10 000 towards the successful hosting of the provincial Heroes Day and Defence Forces Day commemorations.
