HARARE Super League chairman, Kevin Kanyama, says their project will change the face of social football in the country.
The league has lured 15 top teams and got underway at the weekend.
It’s also home to some of the country’s yesteryear stars like Ephraim Mazarura, Elvis Meleka, Sydney Linyama, Nathan Ziwini and Evans Gwekwerere, to name but a few.
“The league is made up of 15 teams, most of the teams we have are familiar with each other as they have interacted before through friendly matches.
“We also invited teams to come to join this league through social media.
“The idea of the league is to allow people to socialise and network through this space which we are creating,” said Kanyama.
He added:
“The uniqueness of this league is there for everyone to see, every member is excited and committed to make it successful and entertaining.
“We have the capital’s best social teams.”
