THE second edition of the Kwaito House Movement Kasi to Kasi that was held on Sunday at Nkulumane koSokusile was a success as local acts continue to be appreciated by locals.

Hosted by Sipho Mercent Nyathi and Melcy Zitha Ntulini, performing acts included Noluntu J, Stiffler the Rapgod, Msiz’kay, LaDee, Tebza the Mrekza, Mawiza, Can’t Get Music and Mzistoz Mfanafuthi. Their performances were stellar and proved that they have become city household names as the crowd was jamming to their tracks.

On the decks, DJ Skaiva proved he has matured like fine wine as he displayed a beautiful set that hit the right chords. Still on the DJ slots, DAB Three Events’ DJ Sida also brought a set that was grandeur.

Attendees were also treated to freebies courtesy of dance challenges that the youthful gladly participated in.

Over and above, the event was a resounding success and still a challenge to individuals and corporates to jump on board in supporting local creatives. – @mthabisi_mthire
