Litshe ready to drop debut album

VERSATILE musician-cum-actor Ishmael Muvingi aka Litshe is set to launch his debut album at the National Art Gallery in Bulawayo on Friday.

The album titled Mix Masala, why Mix Masala has tracks, Vavengi, Omalukazana, Redemption featuring Nteeh, Mayihlalela, Shungu, Thula Sana, Remember and Rudo featuring Fire Tee.

Litshe through his manager Joseph Ngubo said the album speaks volumes of his rare skills as a creative.

“The album consists of Mbaqanga, Gospel and Reggae tunes therefore one is guaranteed to have their favourite type of music on it. The album was recorded and mastered at Rockup Studios by Neshville,” Litshe said.

The musician has an EP titled Mari that was released last year and has four tracks.

Ngubo said Litshe is an all-rounder as far as performing arts is concerned.

“He has done a number of stage plays as the main character with the most recent one with Umkhathi Theatre Works on Footprints. He also does TV acting where he has a number of short films and series,” he said. – @mthabisi_mthire
