TEENAGE swimmer Donata Katai has arrived back home after giving a good account of herself at the ongoing 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

The 17-year old arrived at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport together with national coach Lidsay Tudor this afternoon.

She was welcomed by her parents Desdemona and Luigi Katai together with some staffers from ZOC.

Despite failing to make it to the semi-finals, Katai recorded her personal best time as she won the first heat of the women’s 100m backstroke at the quadrennial event.

The Gateway High School student also became the first black swimmer to represent Zimbabwe at the Olympics
