Katakura sets new personal best time at ADAC Marathon Hannover in Germany

LONG distance runner Godwin Katakura continues to make positive strides as he set a new personal best on Sunday when crossing the finish line in 2 hours 8 minutes 47 seconds at the ADAC Marathon Hannover in Germany.

The time earned him a second-place finish.

His previous personal best was 2 hours 11 minutes 2 seconds.

Kenya’s Kibet Thomas Maru won the race in 2 hours 7 minutes 53 seconds.

Dubre Negawo Asnake from Ethiopia came third with a time of 2 hours 10 minutes 23 seconds.
