Katsande back at training

KAIZER Chiefs defensive midfielder Willard Katsande is back at training.

He had an abdominal muscle problem sustained towards the end of last year.

Katsande started training with the rest of the team about two weeks ago even though he was not part of the team that faced TSG 1899 Hoffenheim from German last week.

Chiefs lost the match 1-0.

“I’m fine now, no pains and I’m able to run and do all the required push ups at training.

“The injury healed earlier than expected as I thought it might rule me out of the beautiful game for at least up to the end of this month,” said Katsande.

The former Warriors hardman said he was looking forward to helping Amakhosi win the title.

They are yet to lose a single game.

“We’ll continue working hard, playing as a team and following the coach Stuart Baxter’s game instructions,” said Katsande.

Under Baxter, Chiefs boast a number of cup triumphs and the 2012/13 league title.

The midfield maestro said it is too early to start celebrating.

He said they will participate in the race until the end of the season where he said they were hopeful that they would be crowned champions.

He said they would take each game as it comes.
