Keeper honoured to join Makepekepe

GOALKEEPER Bhekimpilo Ncube said he is honoured to have joined one of the biggest clubs in the country after signing for CAPS United as a free agent.

He becomes the second ’keeper to join Makepekepe in the off-season.

Ashley Reyners joined in January.

“It has always been my dream to play for top teams in the land and it has finally happened,” he said.

The former Bulawayo City goalie said he will fight for a starting place in the team.

“I know there is going to be tough competition for a place in the team, but l think positive competition is good for the development of players and the team.

“I think it will be good for us to support whoever the coach picks to start, but I will work hard and fight for a starting spot.”

He believes the Green Machine has what it takes to be crowned league champions this year after strengthening virtually every department.

“I think we have depth and experience in the team and if we work really hard, we can win the league.”
