SCOTTLAND defender Kevin Moyo believes they have what it takes to finish strongly in their remaining three league matches and win the Castle Lager Premiership title.

If they can complete the mission, Scottland will become the second side after Black Rhinos to win the title in their maiden season.

History could be made with two or a game to spare.

The 1-0 win over MWOS at Rufaro on Saturday was a big step which helped them open up a six-point gap at the top.

Thanks to Musona brothers, Walter and Knowledge, who were in an uncompromising mood.

While attention has often gone to the Scottland numerous attackers, defender Moyo has been a real pillar for Mabviravira.

Moyo told Zimpapers Sports Hub that winning the last three games is non-negotiable as they continue to show why they are regarded as the Premiership’s most ambitious side.

“We just have to keep on working hard and stay focused. Our aim is to try and win all our remaining games,” Moyo said.

The former FC Platinum and Dynamos defender said winning against MWOS was important for them and sweet, especially after losing the reverse fixture.

“Three very crucial and important points for the team, and as you know, we lost to them in the first leg we didn’t want to lose this game and also extend our lead at the top.

“For me it’s all about hard work and dedication. I try by all means to take care of myself and pray to stay injury-free. I always give my best whenever I am given an opportunity to represent the team.”

Scottland will be facing already relegated Kwekwe United, GreenFuel and TelOne in their remaining matches.

Moyo will be gunning for a third league title after previously winning two with FC Platinum.

“Winning the league title with Scottland will make it special, as I have already won titles with my previous clubs. It’s either I won a league title or the Chibuku Super Cup,” he said.
