MAMELODI Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is concerned about a series of injuries that has hit skillful midfielder Khama Billiat.
The Zimbabwe attacking midfielder was expected to play a key role towards his team’s charge to the Absa Premiership title.
Mosimane expressed disappointment with the Warriors player’s absence and said that it was a blow to the Pretoria side.
“Billiat’s injury is a big blow to the team and I’m quite worried about the player’s injury which might keep the Zimbabwean out of action until the end of the season.
“He is a brilliant player with a lot of talent, Billiat has been a pillar of strength to the team,” said Mosimane.
The Sundowns coach is optimistic about his charges’ chances.
Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Wits are the three clubs chasing the South African title.
Billiat is on crutches with a plaster on his foot and the national team dribbling wizard has said he is still in pain.
