Khama hails Rusike’s Belgium trial

a move abroad.
“I feel great about it,” Billiat told Kickoff.com.
This might come as a surprise to some, given that Rusike seems to have stepped out of Billiat’s shadow in recent months and the signs are that Ajax’s right and left wingers could do some serious damage to opponents this season.

In the MTN Invitational against Manchester United, Billiat and Rusike stood out with their swift combination play and deadly runs at the Red Devil defence.
“I wish him all the best out there and I think he deserves it. He worked hard and I believe it is the right time for him,” Billiat continues.
“We will miss him if he makes it, but we will pray hard for him.

“I think it says a lot about Zimbabwean football and it is something encouraging for young people back home.
“It is something that we must learn to take seriously, because it is not easy to come here firstly and then to work hard.
“It is not easy to push harder because some people think they have made it already and they don’t have another dream.
“We need this as Zimbabweans. To be aware of it, otherwise we end up playing the rest of our career here.”

Meanwhile, former Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City striker Benjamin Mwaruwari is still training with Jomo Cosmos.
The Zimbabwean is back in the country after enjoying success in Europe, but has found no joy in his hunt for a new club just yet, having been linked with Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits, who had held discussions with the player.

Cosmos publicist Lucky Mhlathi confirms that Benjani is still training with the club.
“He went back to Zimbabwe to sort out his personal stuff but is back again and training with the club,” Mhlathi told KickOff.com.

“Jomo Sono is currently handling the issue, but there are chances that will be playing for Cosmos this coming season.”
Mhlathi also announced that that Malian defender Ousmane Berthe is still with the club, having been linked with a move to France, while midfielder Felix Badernhost has been cleared to Swazi team Mbabane Swallows. — Kickoff.com.
