adminJOHANNESBURG. – Club legend Rudolph Gardner Seale has called for Arthur Zwane to take drastic action by letting go of Khama Billiat as Kaizer Chiefs continue an inconsistent vein of form.
Chiefs came from a goal down to grab a 2-2 draw against TS Galaxy as Zwane’s side dropped further points in an inconsistent season so far.
“The attitude of the players is the only thing that needs to change,” Seale told KickOff.
“If you are not in the Champions League, then you don’t need four or five goalkeepers.
“We must also make sure that we have good enough central defenders. Don’t buy just because we are conceding, sometimes we need to fix it internally.
“Also, I’m not happy with Khama [Billiat]. I’m not sure if Arthur Zwane’s demands are too much for him or if he is finished.”
He added:
“Things are not coming together for him.
“I think he should be released now. I think with what he is earning, you can get three quality strikers as replacements.
“We shouldn’t be scared of taking such a step.
“But still, in January we shouldn’t add anyone, let things stay as they are or otherwise we will always look to be adding players.” – KickOff.com
