Khumalo condemns xenophobia

Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Doctor Khumalo is shocked about the xenophobic attacks against foreigners in South Africa. “Such attacks can never be condoned,” the Amakhosi legend said. “If people disagree with each other, they should talk, as we say at Chiefs, in love and peace. There are certain ways to deal with issues and the way this situation is being handled at present is simply wrong. I appeal to all – we should not allow this to happen in South Africa.”

Amakhosi have always been vocal against xenophobia and have been active in promoting unity in diversity.

“It doesn’t matter if you are born in South Africa or not,” continued Khumalo. “What matters is that we live together in the same country. Whatever the background, we’re all brothers and sisters! We are all Africans.” —Supersport.co
