KIKKY’S KILLER COSTUME…wears US$2k silver custom-made grills

OUTRAGEOUS is just one of the words that could be used to describe the outfit worn by local female rapper Kikky Bad*** at the just-ended ZimFest Live show in England.

The ‘Queen of Zim Rap,’ as some call her, jumped off the stage during the closing event of the show at the Amapiano stage, joining rapper Crooger, as they performed the song, “Simudza Gumbo.”

Not only did she roll out some of her biggest tunes but she stunned the crowd with her dazzling, nude colour jumpsuit.

Social media went crazy after images of her outfit emerged.

She appeared to have taken a leaf from American superstar Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s style sense. Her nude colour bodysuit, with diamante and fur that accentuates her chest and hips, left very little to the imagination.

In a way, it gave the impression that the singer’s body was on full display.

Commenting on the outfit, Kikky told H-Metro that it was not very expensive but this was just about creativity.

“My outfit was retailing at US$200. I got it from @natashasseasonbotique. It is a ‘fashion nova’ jumpsuit,” she said.

“I saw the fur and jewels and thought this is what a star should be in.

“I just fell in love the moment I saw it in the shop and thought of wearing it on stage.”

She said she later decided to bring it to the UK, just a week after buying it.

About her teeth grills, which also were topical, Kikky said there was nothing new about them and this was just part of hip-hop culture.

“My grillz are worth US$2 000 and I got them done in South Africa as well.”

The rapper said she has a lot of projects coming up.

“I collaborated with so many talented artists from SA, so watch this space”.
