Killer T headlines Mutare Cup Clash

Manicaland Showgrounds

High riding artistes Jah Prayzah and Dorcas Moyo are part of the main performers at this year’s Manicaland Agricultural Show.

 

Jah Prayzah will perform tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon while Moyo will jump on stage on Sunday.

 

Also on the entertainment itinerary are drum majorettes, horse riding, face painting and water slides.

The Platinum (Pick and Save)

High-profile artistes and DJs converge at the popular joint for the first ever Zim dancehall carnival to be held locally.

 

The show will be dubbed “Mutare Cup Clash”. It will be held tomorrow (Saturday) from 4pm.

 

The event, powered by popular Harare-based arts promoter, Patson ‘Chipaz’ Chimboza, will be headlined by sought-after Zim dancehall giant, Killer T.

Other renowned artistes scheduled to perform include Kinnah, Blot, Silent killer, Ndunge Yut, Killan B, Zim Pogba and local artiste Caff.

 

MCs and DJs billed to perform include Candyman, Ngwambi, Gunz, Addy, Skelter and DJ Fydale. Admission is US$5.

Zvido Zvevanhu Beerhall

High-riding musical group, Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services Band invades the watering hole situated along the Mutare-Masvingo Highway, fondly known as PaMupudzi Business Centre.

 

The band starts performing at 12 noon.

The newly-refurbished joint will see an array of DJs rotating on the turntables over the whole weekend.

Chitsa Bar

Rising afro jazz sensation, Expressions Band, is back again at the joint for another date with pleasure seekers in Dangamvura.

 

The group will be the maiden one to perform at the recently-established outdoor joint which is an extension of the main bar.

 

The outfit will perform on Sunday from 4pm.

Micasa

Resident DJs Frazer and Terminator entertain imbibers with a mixed bag of old and new school music from tonight till wee hours of Sunday.

Afro jazz sensation, Steve Chikotie, headlines the Sunday jazz night which takes place every Sunday.

 

Imbibers enjoy sumptuous traditional foods courtesy of Micasa restaurant for the whole week.

Amarue Tavern

Selected DJs will entertain imbibers who include pool and social soccer players after their respective matches on Saturday and Sunday.

 

The spacious joint will see patrons getting treated to free offals and complementary drinks
