RISING dancehall star Killer T (real name Kevin Kusikwenyu) of the Popopopo fame will be heading for Matabeleland North tomorrow for a debut show at Tennis Club in Hwange.
The artiste who hails from Harare’s Mbare suburb will share the stage with DJ Nospa, Prezha Manager, Bhadilla from Hwange and Mc Joseph from Victoria Falls.
The Zimbabwe Dancehall Award winner said he was excited to be performing in Hwange after a successful tour in the UK.
“I’m very excited as this will be my first time to perform for fans in that far end of the country. Fans should gear up for a fire blazing show,” he said.
Show organiser Becks 07 said fans would have an opportunity to meet the star when he attends the ongoing Hwange Agricultural Show tomorrow afternoon.
He added that Zimdancehall music was on the rise judging by the success of previous shows they have held in the town. Other artistes who have staged shows in Hwange include Shinsoman and Yoz who left the crowds crying for more.
“Dancehall fans are hungry for more acts. We hope they will like Killer T,” he said.
