A new biography titled “Citizen Kim — The Woman Who Created the Future”, written by Jonathan Van Meter, reveals details surrounding a harrowing 2018 trip to Uganda involving Kim Kardashian and her former husband, Kanye West.
According to Farnaz Farjam, an executive producer on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, West grew severely paranoid during a remote shoot, believing individuals were attempting to drug him.
His distress led local police to conduct room raids, during which an officer briefly pointed a gun at Kardashian’s head.
Farjam managed to evacuate her production crew on a private jet shortly after the incident, later noting she forgave West because he was experiencing a manic episode related to his bipolar disorder.
The event took place two years after Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room.
During that 2016 break-in, masked assailants bound her and stole her engagement ring while she feared for her life.
Despite their tumultuous history and 2022 divorce, Kardashian maintains an amicable co-parenting relationship with West.
She admitted to her biographer that caring for his well-being remains a constant responsibility but emphasised that they keep interactions peaceful for the sake of their children. — Wires
