Actor Phillip Andrew, best known for playing Merrick Baliton, the Lunar
Wolf Ranger, in the 2002 series “Power Rangers Wild Force”, underwent emergency surgery following a serious brain injury.
His agent, Christian Ingram, announced that while Andrew is now awake and showing encouraging signs of recovery, he faces a lengthy rehabilitation process.
The update followed a previous notice cancelling the actor’s upcoming public appearances.
Ingram expressed gratitude for the widespread support from fans while requesting privacy for Andrew’s family during his recovery.
Several former franchise cast members publicly offered their prayers and well-wishes, including Jessica Rey, Sasha Craig and Karan Ashley.
Andrew played an ancient warrior in 40 episodes of “Wild Force” before largely stepping away from screen acting after 2006. In recent years, he has regularly connected with fans through pop culture conventions across the United States. — Wires
