Kim Kardashian revealed earlier this week that she was “so sad” to be spending Mother’s Day without her daughter North or husband Kanye West.
But the reality star’s feelings quickly turned to joy when she was presented with some very extravagant gifts to mark the special day.
Kanye surprised Kim with “a couple thousand roses” and a private performance by her very own orchestra.
Kim shared a photo of her stunning flowers on Instagram on Sunday, along with the caption: “I got to my room in Brazil and my amazing thoughtful husband had the sweetest note with a couple thousand roses covering my entire suite for Mother’s Day!
“I’m so sad I’m so far away on this day but happy we celebrated yesterday! I love you baby & North soooo much!!!”
And while the 34-year-old was thrilled with her first present, she was treated to another surprise when she went out for dinner later that day.
“So I get to a restaurant in São Paulo & my husband had a string quartet waiting playing Sam Smith!!!!!” Kim posted on Instagram, along with a photo of her watching the performance.
“Every single waiter who brought food said, ‘This is from Mr West for the best mother in the world’! Seriously I have the best husband ever!!!!”
Earlier in the day, Kim wished her own mom, Kris Jenner, a Happy Mother’s Day with a social media post.
“Everything I am I owe it all to you mom! Everything I will teach my daughter you taught me first! Thank you mom for being there for me and loving me unconditionally! I love you so much!!”
On Saturday, Kim was seen arriving at LAX for her flight to Brazil, dressed in a skin-tight white crop top and matching pencil skirt.
The ensemble clung to her famous figure in all the right places, and left her ample cleavage and a sliver of midriff on show.
Kim also wore a pair of tan sandals with spindly heels, adding a few inches to her petite 5ft 3inch frame.
The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star slipped on a white jacket for added warmth and wore her long dark hair in waves.
Kim appeared to be wearing just little make-up, but covered much of her face with her oversized sunglasses.
The mother-of-one had revealed a couple of days earlier that she would be travelling to Brazil.
“I am actually so sad that I am going be in Brazil for Mother’s Day, so we’re doing something the day before. Mother’s Day is kind of pretty low-key,” Kim told Extra at a book signing for her selfie collection, “Selfish”, last Thursday.
Although she wouldn’t be with her 22-month-old daughter or her own mother Kris Jenner, the star added that little North was making her a gift along with Kourtney’s daughter Penelope, three.
“I saw my daughter doing a whole arts and crafts thing, her and Penelope were. So I’m sure that she made me something really special.
“North prepared this thing for my mom and Kourtney so she’ll take over for the day.”
During the interview, Kim also discussed her stepfather Bruce’s transition into a woman, and said her mother Kris has been doing well following his announcement.
“My mom is doing really good. We’re really excited,” she told Extra.
“I was with Bruce yesterday, and we were just saying what an exciting time in life this is.
“Everyone, including my mom, we’re just so happy he can be himself and happy.” — Daily Mail.
