Gaza Sungura artiste, King Truth Jiggo, is gearing up to unveil his second album, titled “My Wife” next week Monday.
“My Wife” serves as a poignant reflection of King Truth Jiggo’s journey, encapsulating the invaluable lessons he has gleaned throughout his life.
The artiste delved into the inspiration behind the album and its profound significance. He emphasised the importance of understanding life before embarking on any endeavour.
“I came to realise that studying life is a prerequisite before embarking on any endeavour. Marriage, for instance, doesn’t guarantee success; one may find themselves struggling. As men, we often overlook the fact that enabling our wives to work is beneficial, fostering mutual financial support,” said the Izikolo Sezvhuliwe hit-maker.
Dedicated to his wife, whom he guided from secondary school to college, the album consists of six tracks, each encapsulating a unique message and theme. The tracklist includes “My Wife”, “Divorce”, “Nherera”, “Ngizoyibikela bani”, “Lord of Miracles” and “Hamba Polepole”.
King Truth Jiggo aspires to convey a powerful and resonant message through this album, urging listeners to approach life deliberately and concentrate on what truly matters. His hopeful wish is for at least one song from the album to secure a spot in the top 20 by February.
Having entered the music scene in 2019, King Truth Jiggo gained recognition with his chart-topping song ‘Izikolo Sezivhuliwe’.
