Kingdom appoints group CRO

22 years of banking experience gained in Southern Africa. He is the holder of a Master in Business Administration degree from the Zimbabwe Open University, Bachelor of Commerce with specialisation in Risk Management with the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with Midlands State University.

He is now in the final stage of studying for a Bachelor of Commerce degree with specialisation in Law (BCom Law) with Unisa. Mr Marimira is also an Associate of the Institute of Bankers’ Zimbabwe and an Associate member of Certified Fraud Examiners with several short course qualifications. Mrs Mukonoweshuro welcomed Mr Marimira describing his role as crucial to the group which is working to improve on its risk function.

She added that, “the chief risk officer joins AKZL at a critical time when we are in the process of implementing several strategic initiatives to improve the group’s operational efficiency and position ourselves for organic and acquisitive growth as the economy improves.”
