MARABI singer, Kireni Zulu, is expected to perform at Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT)-owned Orange Grove Motel this evening.
The solo guitarist and comedian will perform to his legion of fans, including state universities’ staff who are in town for the Chancellor of Zimbabwe State Universities Staff Games.
The event is an annual sporting tournament to honour the Chancellor of State Universities President Mnangagwa, for his contributions to higher education.
The games are organised by the Zimbabwe Universities Staff Sports Association (ZUSSA) and involve various state universities competing in various sports.
Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development Minister, Ambassador Fredrick Shava, will present certificates and awards to outstanding teams and sportsmen at CUT Hotel today after a week-long sporting extravaganza hosted in the town.
Zulu, who launched his 10th album “Mhambwe ine Bhachi” last year, is expected to dazzle his fans with songs like Handina Hama, Miromo yeVakuru and Samson naDelila among others.
The 67-year-old maestro has over 40 years of experience in the music industry.
