Kirsty bags Zims first medal

SEVEN-TIME Olympic medallist Kirsty Coventry bagged Zimbabwe’s first gold medal at the Congo Brazzaville 2015 African Games yesterday after coming first in the women’s 100M backstroke.

The Zimbabwean swimming golden girl won the race in one minute 01.15 seconds.

Coventry is Zimbabwe’s captain at the Games.­— Online
