Janeiro, Brazil, at the weekend.
Coventry, who first won the 200m backstroke and 400m individual medley events in this annual event during last week, took two more gold medals in the 200IM and 800m freestyle relay.
On Saturday, Coventry continued a phenomenal meet with a meet-record time of 2:11.36 to win the women’s 200IM.
That performance, according to reports from Rio de Janeiro, vaulted her to seventh in the world rankings.
Mireia Belmonte took second in 2:13.77, well off her third-ranked season best of 2:10.26 from last month in Spain.
Duane Marce finished third in 2:15.42.
Coventry swam in the 200IM on Saturday after she had competed in the 800m freestyle relay the previous day.
In Friday’s relay action, Joanna Maranhao, Manuella Lyrio, Coventry and Jessica Cavalheiro topped the women’s 800 freestyle relay in 8:11.37.
This came after Coventry had set another meet record on Wednesday in the women’s 400IM with a third-ranked time of 4:37.21.
Only Mireia Belmonte of Spain (4:34.91) and China’s Li Xuanxu (4:35.73) have been faster so far this year in the event. Belmonte checked in with a second-place time of 4:41.45, while Georgina Bardach of Argentina finished third in 4:49.22.
Bardach faced a fierce battle from Joanna Maranhao of Brazil, who touched the wall for fourth position in a time of 4:49.78.
On the first day of competition on Tuesday last week, Coventry dominated in the women’s 200 backstroke final with a meet record time of 2:08.41.
