Kirsty up for World Series

The World Cup Series hits Europe for the first time in 2010 this weekend in Berlin, Germany, while Moscow, Russia (November 2-3) and Stockholm, Sweden (November 6-7) are the final two stops on the tour.

And according to Speed Endurance Swimming Blog, Zimbabwe’s 2008 Olympic Games 200m backstroke champion Coventry will be among a host of other top international swimmers who will take part in the series, starting in Berlin this weekend. It’s gone relatively unnoticed, but Berlin will mark the return of Coventry at her first major meet of 2010.

Coventry left her former base in Texas, United States, to settle in Johannesburg, South Africa, in November last year and she’s been training in her neighbouring country for the past 12 months.-The Herald
