Nonhlanhla Dube

Her name is Nonhlanhla Dube. She is representing Bulawayo.

Below is her profile:

Growing up on the streets of one of the dirtiest parts of Bulawayo moulded me into the goal oriented dreamer and competitive achiever that I am today. I believe in breaking the chains of poverty through education.

My name is Nonhlanhla Candace Dube. I am from a family of five. I am the last born of Mr and Mrs Dube, war veterans and pensioners.

I am a determined, artistic 20-year-old lady who believes in hard work and prayer. I aspire to be a woman of substance that is to be a successful criminal lawyer, businesswoman and model. I have pushed myself to be an all-rounder by achieving one of the highest A-Level results in arts at Dominican Convent, represented Zimbabwe in volleyball and in debate. My motto being that I am unique and driven by the fear of failure.

My biggest goal is to open a school of Performing Arts in Zimbabwe seeing as I have a passion in expressing myself in all forms of dance and poetry.

In spite of all the difficulties facing my generation, I strive to make a difference by being involved in projects that raise the Zimbabwean flag and give help to all people of different levels of society. I have great interest in current affairs and classic novels. I also love to cook and make people around me happy.

One day I will find a way to create a platform for all young ladies to break through poverty in a project I have been working on called rise up girl child.

I am currently finishing off my gap year to start my law studies in January.
