FORMER Highlanders forward Knox Mutizwa reckons the arrival of Warriors seasoned striker Cuthbert Malajila at Bidvest Wits will positively impact on his football career.

Mutizwa joined Bidvest Wits last month, before Malajila was used as part of a deal that saw Mamelodi Sundowns sign Sibusiso Vilakazi.

a?Itas an open secret that Malajila has a lot of experience as compared to me. I think it was a blessing in disguise for me to have him at the same club. Iam learning a lot from him. My manager Gibson Mahachi and him have been great advisors,a? said the countryas reigning Golden Boot Award winner and Soccer Star of the Year second runner up.

Mutizwaas main target is to help the Clever Boys win trophies.

a?Itas every playeras wish to be recognised as a champion. However, all that comes through hard work so I will always go an extra mile,a? said Mutizwa.

Back home Highlanders have begun blowing cold but he feels Bosso have what it takes to lift the title.

a?I hope my team will go back to its constant winning ways. The players must keep on fighting. They are still in the championship race,a? he said.

He also dismissed word that Bidvest Wits were set to loan him to Tanzanian football giants Young Africans.

a?There is nothing like that. Itas early days yet andA Iam confident I will fit into the clubasA (Bidvest Wits) system very well,a? he said.
