ORGANISERS of the Kokota Festival have started preparations for the second edition which will be held at the traditional venue, The Mitre (next to Barrow Swimming Pool).
The event to be held on November 26 is powered by Rich Circle and Kuzolunga Entertainment.
An array of artistes are set to take to the stage and these include Megatronz, Barrack Bozza, Kiara Gal, Amasalad Eloktshini, Savage, Stormza, Metty Intombi Emfitshane among others.
On the decks will be King SG, Party Krazy, Eazy Vert, DJ Qairo Que and MPrince Beatz.
Kuzolunga Entertainment representative Kikkie Dinaj said:
“The Kokota Festival is back with a bang and it continues with its mission of being a dance and youth culture celebration set to get its audience dancing all night long. This is a festival set to celebrate local talent mostly in the upbeat genres which include Amapiano, Gqom and house among many others.
“The idea behind the event is to give exposure to local artistes and give them an opportunity to show the City what they have and what they can do.”
Kikkie Dinaj said the event to be hosted by Stormz and Beauty Thabiso, will have guest appearances from Babongile Skhonjwa, Khaya Pardon and Boss Moffela from Harare among other celebrities and socialites.
