Kombi crash claims 3 Conrad Mupesa

THREE people died on the spot while nine others sustained serious injuries after a commuter omnibus travelling to Bulawayo veered off the road at the 57-kilometre peg along the Harare-Bulawayo Road last Friday afternoon.

Police said the Toyota Hiace Kombi with 15 passengers on board veered off the road and overturned before landing on its left side.

Bodies of the deceased were taken to Norton Hospital mortuary for post-mortem while the injured were admitted to the same hospital.
