KOTWA High School believes that hard-working young people are a credit to the school and an inspiration to everyone .
The school believes that it is through its achievements that they are able to see the commitment of staff as it embraces the competence-based curriculum towards Vision 2030.
1. Interactive Board — bought to champion teaching of STEM (Sciences in particular) using latest ICT tools
2. Commercialisation — school transforming departments into commercial entities eg TTD, heavy duty machines were purchased so that they sew school uniforms. The tuckshop is vibrant
3. School Website — to be resuscitated so that school activities are posted to market the unique brand of the school.
4. School Bus — parents are still paying bus levy to buy a big bus
5. Sports — rehabilitation of sports fields was done
PROJECTS
School projects include:
l cattle ranching/rearing
l goat rearing
l poultry production
l horticulture is being constrained by the shortage of water, a solar-powered borehole is required.

The school has an ATE of 55, with 21 males and 29 females. We have a deficit of 5 teachers.
