ZIMBABWEAN professional Stuart Krog produced an outstanding final round on Sunday to win the 2026 Mopani Zambia Open held at Nkana Golf Club in Kitwe.

It was his maiden victory on the Sunshine Tour.
Krog had been tied for 14th position after moving day and went into the final round trailing overnight leader Jason Roets by eight shots.

He then fired a superb six-under-par 66 to finish on an overall five-under-par 283, edging Roets, who closed on four-under-par 284.

The Zimbabwean opened his campaign with a four-over-par 76 before settling with a level-par 72 in the second round.

On moving day, he carded an impressive 69, dropping just a single shot throughout the round.
Krog was equally steady in the final round, conceding just one shot.

On the front nine, he surged ahead with five birdies at the second, fourth, fifth, seventh and ninth holes, with his only blemish coming at the sixth, as he went out in 32.

After the turn, he delivered a flawless back nine, adding further birdies at the 12th and 13th holes for an inward 34 — enough to seal the title.

Second-placed Roets carded rounds of 71, 65, 73 and 75. Haydn Porteous and Keegan Thomas shared third place on three-under-par 285.

Krog’s victory also earned him 380.40 Order of Merit points.
