Upcoming gospel musician Something Kubvunya tomorrow launches his album at Chinhoyi University Hotel.

The album features musicians Mathias Mhere, Andy Muridzo and Kudzi Nyakudya and is titled “Mwana Womuporofita”. Mhere featured on the song “Vanokupa Mhosva”, Nyakudya on “Ropafadzo” while Muridzo is on the song “Mudiwa Wangu”.

The Karoi-based musician said it was a great experience working with those three musicians.
“I am happy that the three worked tirelessly to have quality songs. It is a humbling experience to have such great artistes working with me,”

Kubvunya thanked the management at CUT hotel saying they were very instrumental in uplifting artistes in Mashonaland West. He explained the song that features Muridzo.

“The song with Muridzo is an appreciation to our wives for the job they do for us. They are special to us and we have to honour them hence the song,” he said. Everything is in place for the launch and he was expecting a good crowd.

“Everything is set for the launch. We will release the audio project first the DVD will follow. We have six videos. All the collaborations have videos,” he said.

Kubvunya’s career sprouted in Karoi where he released a number of albums. He said it was by God’s grace that he has managed to soldier on.
“It is not easy to work from this side because few people can take care of you. I am happy that these three musicians agreed to work with me a move that is likely to boost me,” he said.
