Victor Kunonga serenaded music lovers with a good show at CUT Hotel in Chinhoyi on Saturday night.
The Marunjeya hit-maker took lovers into the second day of the Valentine’s weekend. He played most of his hits to the delight of the audience that was mainly made of couples.

Kunonga and the Peace band went on stage around 9pm and took fans on an exciting music night.

People sang along and danced the night away, brining life to the usually entertainment-starved town. Kunonga had not performed in Chinhoyi for almost two years. The musician’s fans cheered him throughout his performance.

Kunonga said he was glad about the response he got in Chinhoyi.

“It was a good show and I had a good time here. The fans are inspiring and I feel I owe them another show in the near future,” he said.

CUT Hotel marketing executive Zororo Marangwanda said they were happy with the show.

“We did not anticipate such a good turnout and we are happy that we had a good show.

“It was such an exciting night and we will plan more shows for mature crowds in the near future. Our guests and music fans from the town really enjoyed the show. We thank Victor for a good performance,” said Marangwanda.
