Prof Kurasha as Goodwill Ambassador on May 9 in recognition of her commitment to expanding access to quality education and training through open and distance learning.

Prof Kurasha said “Like Lao Tzu said, ‘I have three precious things which I hold precious, gentleness; frugality; humility. These keep me from putting myself before others. Being gentle will make me bold; being frugal makes me liberal, and by being humble I avoid putting myself before others. I believe this makes me a leader to reckon with, among many.’ I accept the appointment with humility and will serve to my best ability in Zimbabwe and the continent at large.”
