UPCOMING bodybuilder, Tadiwa Kwangware, won the Kwekwe Sports Festival junior and senior men bodybuilding contest at Sanja On The Deck complex in Kwekwe on Saturday.
Kwangware first won the junior men bodybuilding contest after beating Albert Musarurwa and Israel Nyatanga into second and third place.
In the senior men section, he shoved off competition from Enoch Mugariwa while Musarurwa came third.
The hulk was ecstatic and thanked the organisers of the tournament for giving him the opportunity to shine.
“I am very happy to have managed to win two categories at this first Sanja Kwekwe sports festival and I am grateful to the sponsors and organisers of the event.
“By having tournaments like these, it helps us to keep on working hard and improve our stage presentations.
“The competition was tough but after winning the junior men section my confidence levels rose when I went for the big one – the senior men bodybuilding title.
“I look forward to taking part in more contests like the Harare Classic in the near future,” said Kwangware.
