IF ever there is someone who knows the strengths and weaknesses of CAPS United having worked with the Green Machine for many years, it is Fungai “Tostao” Kwashi.
He was part of the CAPS United set-up, since he was eight-years-old.
He is now the assistant coach to Joey Antipas at Chicken Inn.
On Sunday, Kwashi’s Gamecocks welcome Lloyd Chitembwe’s CAPS United at Luveve.
“As for us at Chicken Inn, we put God first ahead of such a particularly tough match, it is not going to be an easy game.
“CAPS United are a big team and it’s going to be an exciting match and our boys are ready.
“We are worried about ourselves, our family and our organisation. We are not satisfied with our performances in the past months. It’s not about challenging anyone, but ourselves.
“We need to give it everything because the buck stops with us,” said Kwashi.
The gaffer said they will not be reading anything into the chaos at CAPS United whose players went on strike this week over unpaid dues.
“That’s when they are more dangerous because they will have a lot to prove but we are not going to read much into that.
“We are fixing our house, room by room, because there is a lot at stake come the end of the season.”
