Ladies Golf Union donates

The Zimbabwe Ladies Golf Union, through the Annual Charity Golf Fundraising Tournament, donated US$1 200 to Bumhudzo Old Peoples’ Home.
The Four-Ball-Better-Ball stable-ford tournament was won by Shamiso Makwara and Evelyn Maisvoreva who played off seven and 19 handicaps respectively after they managed 52 points.

The event had a reasonable field of 48 players who took to the course at Wingate Park and Golf Club. The Zimbabwe Ladies Golf Union public relations office Evelyn Maisvoreva said they were happy that this year’s event was successful as any other year.
“We thank all those who participated and made the tourney a success

“We are grateful to the sponsors and our greatest appreciation go to Obert and Nancy Dube for a good array of prizes, their support will be always appreciated,” Maisvoreva said.
