Lady Chevrons to host UAE at Queens Sports Club

THE Zimbabwe senior women’s national cricket team, the Lady Chevrons, are set to host the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in a six-match white-ball series scheduled for Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo next week.

The series features four One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two T20Is.

UAE is expected to arrive in Bulawayo on Monday. They will then face the Steve Mangongo mentored Zimbabwe High Performance team in a 50-over warm up match at Bulawayo Athletic Club (BAC) on Wednesday before the series gets underway on Friday

The ODIs will get the series started. The four ODIs are scheduled for Friday September 26, Sunday September 28, Tuesday September 30 and Thursday October 2. The 20-over matches are penciled in for October 5 and 6. – @brandon_malvin
