The top two teams, Mushowani Stars and Lake Harvest, are all newboys in the league. Yesterday Lake Harvest secretary, Pius Dure, said they were happy with the way they have started their campaign.
“Our aim is to avoid relegation in our first year and we just want to collect 20 points in the first round as we know it would be difficult to get a lot of points in the second half. The league title would be a bonus for Kariba town. It is our first year and our first time in the league and the players are responding well. Gunners are still smarting from a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Chegutu Pirates at the weekend and makes the trip to Kariba where they face tricky ZPC Kariba.
