IN March 2025, Prophet Kacou Philippe embarked on a significant pilgrimage to South Africa, a mission foretold to him in a vision on June 5, 2022. During this vision, an angel presented him with a blue notebook, which he later understood to symbolise a passport, indicating his destined journey to South Africa to retrieve the healing gift left by William Branham.
Leading up to the trip, the angel appeared to him on numerous occasions, providing guidance and instructions. A pivotal moment occurred on February 2, 2024, when the angel physically manifested on his balcony, delivering further instructions that intensified the frequency of his visions.
In preparation for his journey, the angel advised him to undertake a fast, specifying two foods to consume in meagre quantities.

“I initially struggled with the restrictions, but found solace in the angel’s understanding and ultimately chose to adhere to the original recommendations. Two weeks before the trip, the angel adjusted my diet to include rice and relish, and granted me the liberty to eat anything prior to travelling,” he said.
On March 6, 2025, upon arriving at the meeting hall, Prophet Philippe immediately approached the pulpit, facing an audience both curious and sceptical. He began his address in French, declaring that he was not Jesus but His servant, and delivered a prophecy concerning his divine purpose in healing and miracles. His words were translated into English and Zulu, as the majority of the audience spoke Zulu.
“However, the audience seemed unfamiliar with my style, leading to a heavy atmosphere. When I encouraged them to say ‘Amen’, there was silence, causing me to initially perceive them as unbelieving. Unbeknown to me, the audience’s lack of response stemmed from their language barrier and unfamiliarity with my approach,” he said.
During the prayer service in Johannesburg, the atmosphere felt unspiritual, and Prophet Kacou Philippe struggled to perform at his best. When a young woman in a wheelchair approached for prayer, she displayed signs of contempt towards him, causing the prophet to hesitate but ultimately pray for her. However, he immediately felt weak and on the verge of collapse.

“As the next person, a blind woman supported by crutches, requested prayer, I sensed her faith but was unable to raise my hand to bless her. I asked Apostle Yanick for support and left the hall, where I began to regain strength.
Upon re-entering, I heard a voice advising me against praying for the contemptuous woman and publicly asked God for forgiveness and continued the service,” Prophet Philippe said.
After praying for over 30 more individuals, he concluded the service without confirming any healings. Back in Soweto, he felt disheartened and remained silent about his feelings. The following morning, he informed his disciples that if they did not receive reports of at least five miraculous healings from the previous day, he would cancel the next meeting and return to the Ivory Coast.
His companions were taken aback by this declaration and decided to check with the organisers about the healing reports. They confirmed that over 15 miracles had occurred, although the audience had not been given the opportunity to testify. Apostle Yanick then shared audio and screenshots of the testimonies with the prophet, who reviewed them with caution but acknowledged their authenticity.
Among the testimonies, a powerful account came from a young woman named Rufaro, who had suffered from severe depression and insomnia for years. Despite seeking help from numerous churches and pastors without success, she identified Prophet Philippe as her last hope. Determined to receive his prayers, she refused to attend any other congregations and awaited his arrival in South Africa.
