LATEST: Dzamara appears in court

Patson Dzamara and four others have today appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Vakayi Chikwekwe facing charges of robbery and defeating or obstructing the course of justice.

Dzamara (30), who recently released an effigy that he claimed was his missing brother — MDC-T activist-cum-journalist, Itai, in detention — was arrested yesterday together with Oliver Chikumba (32), Tatenda Mombeyarara (33), Pride Mukono (26) and Makomborero Haruzivishe (33).

They were remanded out of custody to June 28 for trial on $1 000 bail each.
