KAIZER Chiefs striker Kingston Nkhatha has recovered from the fever that kept him out of his team’s 1-0 victory over Ajax Cape Town.

The Zimbabwe international has boosted Kaizer Chiefs’ attacking options as he is in line for selection for Wednesday’s night game against Moroka Swallows at the FNB Stadium.

“Kingston has no fever anymore and is coming back today (yesterday). He had a raging fever the other day. He has to be one day without a fever before he starts exercising.

“He will do a gentle turn over today and then we will see him tomorrow. If he is okay tomorrow then he will do a normal pre-match and then he will be available,” Stuart Baxter, the Kaizer Chiefs coach said.

In the meantime, Baxter is uncertain about Bernard Parker.

“Bernard is at the hospital getting a scan. We think it is heavy bone bruising, but we are not sure because it is so painful that we need to see a scan and see if there is any break.”

With Nkhatha and Parker out, Chiefs were forced to start the match in Cape Town without an established forward.
