LATEST: Mpopoma girls make history at Copa Coca-Cola

MPOPOMA High School made history when they became the first ever school from Bulawayo to win the Copa Coca-Cola football tournament girls title when they defeated Nyamauru 5-4 on penalties in the final at Rimuka Stadium in Kadoma on Saturday.

In what was a repeat of last year’s final which Nyamauru won 2-1 in Zvishavane, the match ended 0-0 in normal time and had to be decided on penalties. The shootout was also deadlocked at 4-4 with Mpopoma winning it in sudden death. @Mdawini_29
