LATEST: President leaves for Algeria

President Mugabe has left Harare for Algiers, Algeria, on a three day state visit aimed at enhancing economic and political  co-operation between Zimbabwe and the North African country.

He was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Cde Simbarashe Mumbengegwi.

President Mugabe was seen off by Vice Presidents Emmerson Mnangagwa, Phelekezela Mphoko, Media, Information and Publicity Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo, Local Government and National Housing Minister Dr Ignatius Chombo, Defence Minister Dr Sydney Sekeramayi, Minister of State for Harare Province Cde Miriam Chikukwa, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda, Service Chiefs and other senior government officials.
