Latest: President Mugabe arrives in Indonesia

President Mugabe arrived here this morning to attend the Asia-African Conference that coincides with celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Bandung Conference of 1955.The Bandung Conference laid the groundwork for the Non-Aligned Movement. NAM is a group of states which are not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc.

The President was welcomed at Halim Perdanakusum International Airport by Ambassador to Indonesia Alice Mageza, Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi and Indonesia’s minister of defence Ryamizard Ryacudu.
