HARARE Provincial Magistrate Mr Vakayi Chikwekwe has ordered Sunday Mail editor Edmund Kudzayi to apply for bail at the High Court since the magistrate’s court does not have the jurisdiction to preside over bail applications in respect of third schedule offences.

Kudzayi is now being represented by Mr Admire Rubaya who took over from Mr Joseph Mandizha.

He appeared in court while in leg irons which were later removed after his lawyer expressed displeasure.
