Prophetic Healing Deliverance Ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya’s wife Tendai, lost her vehicle, a Landrover Discovery valued at $116 000 after it was seized by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority on allegations of evading duty.
The vehicle had been given to Magaya’s wife as a gift by Admire Mango who is a senior overseer at PHD Ministries for Chitungwiza area.
Mango bought the car through a local car dealer, Upenyu Prosper Mashangwa (35), the managing director of Oceane Perfumes.
Mashangwa allegedly evaded duty by manufacturing fake documents for the vehicle despite being paid the entire amount required to import the car from South Africa.
Mashangwa today appeared in court before magistrate Mr Tendai Mahwe charged with fraud.
