Burg Comedy Club is hosting its first-ever Comedy and RnB night on 14 February at the Bulawayo Theatre to celebrate love through music and poetry.

The comedy club was founded by five comedians, The General, Mbongeni Ignash, Frank Chirisa, Dalu the Comedian, and Brandon Masuku.

In an interview one of the founders Chirisa said the goal is to celebrate love and unite people.

“The show will be hosted by a poet and a comedian, Chester and it will be headlined by Frank Chirisa and some RnB artists, Khwezi and Lloyd Enque.

“There will be supporting artists like Absoll Luz, The General, Brandon Masuku, and Thuts Rodney. The show will be from 5 pm to 7 pm,” said Chirisa.

Chirisa said the show is not limited to lovers but it will also cater to single people.

“In this show, our goal is to celebrate love through some soft music and comedy. We want to bring people together for Valentine’s Day.

“The event is not limited to lovers, even single people are welcome to come and celebrate love with us,” said Chirisa.

He said that they promise their fans a great event and excellence.

“We promise the audience premium content, it is going to be a great event.  I feel happy and nervous at the same time as there is a lot of pressure to do things right,” said Chirisa.
