President Emmerson Mnangagwa, President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique and Zambia’s  Tourism Minister Rodney Sikumba- standing for Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia- have signed the ZIMOZA TFCA Memorandum agreement.

This landmark accord establishes a cross-border initiative to collaboratively manage the shared natural resources spanning four districts across the three nations.

The ZIMOZA TFCA aims to promote community-based resource management, infrastructure development, and harmonised policies to preserve the ecologically vital region comprising areas in four districts, which are Mbire in Zimbabwe, Zumbo, and Magoe in Mozambique, and Luangwa in Zambia. The signing represents a significant milestone in regional conservation efforts along the Zambezi River Basin.
